STUDIO POLICIES & GUIDELINES
Thank you for choosing The Nail Studio by Mskreativekay Inc. Please carefully review our policies before booking an appointment. We operate by appointment only, and all appointments must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance. We do not accept same-day or walk-in appointments.
APPOINTMENTS, DEPOSITS, & PAYMENTS
- Service Pricing: All nail services are à la carte. The final cost depends on the selected service, technique, and style. Results may vary based on the natural shape of your hands and fingers.
- Payment Due: The remaining balance is due upon completion of your service(s).
- Accepted Payment Methods: We accept Cash, Credit Cards, and Zelle only.
- Deposit Policy: A 50% deposit is required for all services. This deposit is non-refundable, non-negotiable, and non-transferable, but it will be applied to your final balance.
- Final Payment: All deposits and payments are final. No refunds will be issued once services are rendered.
CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDLING
- Appointment Confirmation: You will receive confirmation 72 hours before your appointment, followed by a reminder 24 hours prior.
- Late Arrivals: We allow a 10-minute grace period for late arrivals. After 10 minutes, the appointment may be canceled, or we may still accommodate the service, but you will be charged the full price, and your deposit will be forfeited. If you’re running late, please call 516-724-5067 before your appointment.
- Cancellations (Before 24 Hours): If you need to cancel, please note that your deposit is final. We can assist in rescheduling if you contact the studio at least 24 hours before your appointment. Cancellations should be made by contacting the salon directly.
- Cancellations Within 24 Hours: If you cancel within 24 hours, your deposit will be forfeited, and 50% of the service cost will be charged to the card on file.
- Rescheduling Policy: One reschedule per deposit is allowed with at least 24 hours’ notice. Please reach out to the salon directly to reschedule.
- No-Call/No-Show: No-show appointments will result in a 100% charge of the service cost to the card on file. If the card on file declines and isn’t updated, future bookings will be restricted until the outstanding balance is paid.
STUDIO POLICES
- Nail Preparation: We do not work on nails done by other technicians. Please arrive with natural nails or book a soak-off add-on in advance if removal is required.
- Removal Policy: If the removal is needed but not booked in advance, your appointment will be canceled.
- Service Changes: If you change your service at the last minute without prior notice, the original booked service price will still apply.
- Nail Health: Please do not rip or tear off acrylic/gel nails, as this can damage your natural nails. Services will not be performed on open wounds or damaged nail beds.
- Repair Requests: Any repair request must be made within 24 hours of your service. After that, repairs will incur a fee.
RETURNING CLIENTS ONLY
- Full Set Requirement: If your last appointment was more than four weeks ago for a full set, or if you’re rescheduling for a fill-in after 4 weeks, you will be charged for a full set on the day of your service.
GUEST & SAFETY POLICY
- Children: Children are not allowed in the studio.
- No Extra Guests or Food: No extra guests or food are permitted in the studio. Failure to comply will result in the cancellation of your appointment.
COVID-19 POLICY & SAFETY MEASURES:
- Masks: Masks are optional but may be required based on changing health guidelines.
- Handwashing: Please wash your hands thoroughly upon entering the studio.
- Rescheduling or Cancellations: Please reschedule if you:
- Have flu-like symptoms.
- Have been exposed to COVID-19.
- Have tested positive for COVID-19 within the last 14 days.
- Disclaimer: Deposits are only transferable for rescheduling in the event of illness.
RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE:
To maintain a safe and professional environment, The Nail Studio by Mskreativekay Inc. reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if a client’s behavior or condition poses a risk to staff or other clients.
