STUDIO POLICIES & GUIDELINES

Thank you for choosing The Nail Studio by Mskreativekay Inc. Please review the following policies carefully before booking an appointment. We operate by appointment only. All appointments must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Same-day and walk-in appointments are not accepted.
APPOINTMENTS, DEPOSITS, & PAYMENTS
Service Pricing:
All nail services are à la carte. Final pricing depends on the selected service, technique, and design. Results may vary based on the natural shape and condition of your hands and nails.
Accepted Payment Methods:
We accept Cash, Credit Cards, and Zelle only.
Deposit Policy:
A 50% non-refundable, non-negotiable, and non-transferable deposit is required for all services. The deposit will be applied to your final balance.
Final Payment:
All deposits and payments are final. The remaining balance is due upon completion of services. No refunds will be issued once services have been rendered.
CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDLING
Appointment Confirmation:
You will receive a confirmation 72 hours before your appointment and a reminder 24 hours prior.
Late Arrivals:
A 10-minute grace period is provided. After 10 minutes, your appointment may be canceled. If service is still provided, the full-service price will be charged, and the deposit will be forfeited.
If you are running late, please call 516-724-5067 before your appointment time.
Cancellations (More Than 24 Hours Notice)
Deposits remain non-refundable. One reschedule per deposit is permitted if you contact the salon at least 24 hours in advance.
Cancellations Within 24 Hours
Your deposit will be forfeited, and 50% of the service cost will be charged to the card on file.
No-Call / No-Show
No-show appointments will result in a 100% charge of the service cost to the card on file. If the card declines and is not updated, future bookings will be restricted until the balance is paid.
STUDIO POLICES
Nail Preparation
We do not work over nails applied by other technicians. Please arrive with natural nails or book a soak-off add-on in advance.
Removal Policy
If removal is required and not booked in advance, your appointment will be canceled.
Service Changes
Last-minute service changes without prior notice will still be charged at the originally booked service price.
Nail Health
Please do not rip or pull off acrylic or gel enhancements, as this may damage your natural nails. Services will not be performed on open wounds or damaged nail beds.
Repair Requests
All repair requests must be made within 24 hours of your service. Repairs requested after this period will incur a fee.
RETURNING CLIENTS ONLY
Full Set Requirement
If your last full set was completed more than 4 weeks ago, or if a fill-in is rescheduled beyond 4 weeks, you will be charged for a full set at your appointment.
GUEST & SAFETY POLICY
Children
Children are not permitted in the studio.
No Extra Guests or Food
No additional guests or food are allowed. Failure to comply will result in the cancellation of the appointment.
SAFETY MEASURES:
- Masks are optional but may be required per current health guidelines.
- Please wash your hands upon entering the studio.
- Please reschedule if you:
- Have flu-like symptoms
- Have been exposed to COVID-19
- Have tested positive for COVID-19 within the last 14 days
Disclaimer: Deposits may be transferred only for rescheduling due to illness.
RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE:
To maintain a safe and professional environment, The Nail Studio by Mskreativekay Inc. reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if a client’s behavior or condition poses a risk to staff or other clients.
